Project Description: a 42,000 square foot distribution center. Included is 39,000 square feet of warehouse space with mezzanine and 2,000 square feet of office space. The site was undercut approximately 3 feet and replaced with 27,000 cubic yards of select fill. Concrete foundation walls with a 6 inch slab. Structural steel and joist girder framing in the warehouse with a standing seam roof. The exterior walls in the warehouse are 8 foot tall by 6 inch thick concrete tilt panels. There is approximately 7,500 square feet of concrete tilt panels. Above the tilt panels are a pre-engineered metal wall sheet. The office walls are constructed with fluted, split face and regular 8 inch concrete masonry units. The roof structure is a membrane roof on metal deck supported by bar joists. The front entry includes a parapet wall with a stainless “super rib” panel and stainless soffitt panels.
