Project Description: A 32,000 sf facility consisting of offices, classrooms and high bay labs.The building features a steel framed structure with a combination of brick/cmu cavity walls and composite metal panels on the exterior. Curtain walls feature high performance low-E glass. The barrel shaped standing seam metal roof is supported by rolled W-section steel trusses and steel decking. Interior walls are epoxy coated cmu, brick, marlite wood paneling, ceramic tile and gypsum board. The high bay spaces feature color coded exposed mechanical duct, piping and electrical conduit. Site work, including site utilities was self-performed by Malouf Construction. It required placement of select fill within the building area and the 9000 square yard asphalt parking area which included crushed limestone sub grade.
