Project Description: Three (3) 5 level buildings and a central 4 story atrium for a total of 278,000 sf. Super fast-track project; construction began with partial foundation drawings and design stayed just ahead of construction. Exterior curtain walls of polished granite and glass. Atrium, which consisted of a boardroom, multi-purpose room and open space, was added last – between two finished buildings. The interior of atrium was started in December 1998 (prior to completion of the external envelope) and was completed May 1999 to accommodate owners’ stockholder meeting. Facilities include: 350 seat cafeteria, 3 bay loading dock, 12 elevators, 12,000 sf mechanical room. An 18,000 sf. data center (in building 3) was critical to the project – foundation was started in January 1999 and on-line in November 1999. Parking lot has1,300 spaces with underground storm water drainage system, lights, and surveillance system. Lake, landscaping and running track. Project was completed in phases and owner took occupancy and moved employees in after each phase.
