Job Summary
We are seeking a NCCCO Certified Crane Operator to join our construction team.
In this role, you will be responsible for operating various types of Lattice Boom Crawler cranes.
You will be required to hoist, move and position machinery, equipment, etc. at construction sites.
Ideal candidates will have a keen eye for detail, good coordination, and excellent judgement to handle the equipment safely.
Responsibilities:
- Operate cranes to lift, move or place equipment and materials
- Inspect crane for safety issues on a daily basis
- Perform routine maintenance work such as cleaning and lubricating cranes
- Follow all safety rules and regulations
- Use radio and hand signals to communicate with crew
- Determine the load weight and check it against the lifting capacity of the crane
- Keep and update maintenance and activity logs
Qualifications
- Valid NCCCO certification to operate cranes
- Proven experience as a crane operator
- Knowledge of the construction industry and safety standards
- Physical strength and stamina to perform the job
- Ability to understand and execute complex oral and written instructions
- High school diploma or equivalent
