Malouf Construction is a 37-year-old, family-owned, Mississippi-based construction firm, specializing in civil, industrial, and marine construction. Our customer base consists of public and private entities. We are licensed in Mississippi and all surrounding states.


Our firm is seeking an Office Coordinator to join our team in Flora, MS to manage office activities and operations while providing administrative support to management.

Job Summary

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Greet office visitors and callers, making them feel welcome and comfortable, answering questions, and transferring callers to the appropriate lines
  • Create and implement office processes designed to maximize efficiency
  • Schedule and organize company-wide events, including meetings and celebrations
  • Manage facility maintenance (landscaping, cleaning crew, pest control, etc.)
  • Oversee telephone services, including recordings and managing extensions
  • Maintain postage systems to insure efficient mail distribution
  • Keep office supplies stocked and office equipment in working order
  • Assist human resources staff with applications, onboarding, and payroll as needed
  • Assist safety staff with manuals, certifications, and general compliance
  • Assist equipment staff with vehicle and trailer registration, renewals, and documentation
  • Assist marketing and estimating staff with pre-qualifications processes, project write-ups, and bid package support
  • Assist accounting support staff with license renewals, compliance, and banking as needed
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Exhibit a high degree of professionalism with coworkers and customers
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Basic understanding of operating standard business equipment
  • Ability to comfortably multitask and shift gears throughout the workday
  • Background in office administration or similar experience preferred
