Project Description: Never shy of a challenge, Malouf agreed to take a floating boat and dock it without taking it out of the water or missing a transaction in the 24/7 casino! We developed a methodology, built a model and spent many hours underwater. With the collaboration of Mobile Diving we were able to remove 5,000 cubic yards of sand from under the vessel, reinforce it and pour a 15 inch concrete slab, install 154 structural jacks between the slab and the vessel, then remove the water at a controlled rate until it was completed dry docked. Most of this work was accomplished in about 12 feet of water with two feet of working space and nearly zero visibility.
