Project Description: Malouf Construction contracted with the City of Meridian to remove a failed corrugated metal drainage structure and replace it with 400 linear feet of a 26’ wide x 14’ tall (inside clear dimensions) cast-in-place concrete box culvert. The project required design and construction of a temporary shoring system to support existing improvements. The temporary shoring system consisted of a combination of sheet piling tied back with helical anchors, sheet piling braced with struts, and driven H-Pile and lagging walls to accommodate existing utilities. Malouf crews self-performed all pile driving, earthwork, and concrete construction for the project.
