Project Description: In 2017 New Process Steel called on Malouf Construction to construct an addition to their Columbus, Mississippi facility that was completed by Malouf in 2011. Malouf’s services for the project are turn-key design build construction services (architectural, civil, mechanical, electrical, furnish & erect pre-engineered metal building system) for the new 110,000 square foot addition to their existing facility. Malouf Construction crews are self-performing site development and concrete construction. Concrete construction for the project includes drilled shafts, pile caps/grade beams, slabs-on-grade, 2 – 30’ deep looping pits, 2- slitting line foundations including furnish and install of embedded items, and multiple other equipment foundations.
